Gilles Gaudron today perpetuates family know-how passed down by four successive generations of winegrowers based in Vernou-sur-Brenne

His father Sylvain Gaudron gave him his 29 hectare vineyard made up of Chenin blanc vines aged 30 years and over. The vines are grassed and Gilles practices sustainable pest control by limiting the use of phytosanitary products.

MODERNITY


An anchor in tradition which does not exclude a fierce desire to progress and improve, which is reflected in the numerous distinctions that the Vouvray of Domaine Sylvain Gaudron obtain in the most renowned salons.

It is in a magnificent 13th century cellar, made up of 1000 meters of galleries dug into the tuffeau stone, that Gilles produces his still dry, semi-dry and sweet wines as well as traditional raw and semi-dry method wines.

His wines are of great finesse, fine bouquets, fruity with a racy character. The estate markets on the domestic market, directly from the estate and internationally.
